In the eyes of TPCI, if it doesn't have absolute blockbuster sales compared to the top of their sales history, it's not good enough. PLA wasn't just a proper Gen 4 remake, it was the first proper Pokemon game we've even gotten since ORAS. The worst thing we could have happen to us right now is have critics start smearing shit all over Scarlet and Violet for being real games instead of shitty visual novels like SM/SWSH.
