If Flygon actually resembled a dragonfly more than a slender, winged salamander, and Salamence wasn't the final, flying form of a Gon that yearned to fly, we wouldn't be having this discussion. Hell, Ken Sugimori might have drawn Flygon (yes, that's his name in Japan) that way on purpose) and it could be an elaborate plot to troll people into taking this subject matter seriously.
