>>27838020I will actually admit that seeing Yveltal wreck shit was pretty cool imo. Then that little scene with Xerneas and Yveltal having sort of a brother-sister implied relationship for a few seconds was nice, wish they could've expanded on that.
So all is well but oh no! They pull a Mewtwo Strikes Back where you think a beloved character is going to die, in this case, Pikachu, but Xerneas saves everyone who died, I guess if that's what you want to call it.
They pull out of their ass which is that I guess they were trying to have this movie have a relationship between Bonnie and Diancie like with Max and Jirachi or May and Manaphy but I'm not kidding, they really only share two lines together and that's it.
Also with the fact that Diancie isn't Queen. They pull that BS that she's princess when she's the only monarch around and should be Queen. Now I would've suggested if making the Heart Diamond by Mega evolving was a ritual that Diancie also wanted to prove herself for cause this was the passage of rite to be coronated queen and that was something that she aimed to accomplish.
I would've enjoyed it a little bit more if Diancie was played up more as a curious person, you know with being in the caves for so long, she's either scared or nervous of interacting in Ash and Co's world or is like an Ariel character where she's fascinated by all these things up above her world.
I'm disappointed cause they really didn't explore the beauty and mythical aspect of Diancie, which could've led to many stunning visuals.
Overall, really underwhelming movie that didn't even feel like one.
