Ability: Hardy Arbor--Halves damage from incoming Fire-, Ice-, and Flying-type attacks.
Dex Entry: Mega Evolution increases Torterra's size and causes a second tree to sprout from its back and merge with the first. The two plants then wrap their dense, heavy roots around Torterra's body and limbs. This greatly restricts the Pokémon's movement but provides increased protection as the Infinity Energy coursing through the tree trunks resists changes in temperature.

I'll post some more music that helped inspire me writing these but I'm going to be finished soon. I hope that the Sinnoh starters get Megas someday.
