Nobody cared about Prism until it got C&D'd. It was just one of countless romhacks he knew would be instantly forgotten despite all the years the team had put into it. So he baited Nintendo and got drama fuel that skyrocketed Prism's notoriety on the heels of the proper attempt to get attention.
