I missed a few encounters due to stupidity/luck, Solid Snake FINALLY learned a STAB move at level FORTY FUCKING FIVE (what did Game Freak mean by this?), everyone and their mother got Psycho Boost, we got the Covet TM for item harvesting (maybe Solid Snake will finally get a TM for a 100% accurate move), and we found a Poison Gas tutor. What? Why is everyone giggling? It's a move tutor that teaches the move Poison Gas. What's so funny about that? Anyway, we climbed Mt. Pyre and managed to take the correct path through Magma Hideout on the first try, and easily took down Maxie without a single death this time.
