I've been failing at chaining recently. I've messed up two chains of 40 already and now I can't ever seem to get past 27. Its just discouraging bevause ive successfully chained a pikachu and fletchling but it seems like im getting worse at chaining nstead of perfecting it.
I decided to shiny fish today and got a poliwhirl but its nowhere near as satisfying as running into a shiny patch.
Maybe based Masuda will eventually give me the strength I need to finally get myself a goomy and slowpoke...
