>>18616143Well, it's about time Fighting stopped being the weakest type ever since Donphan Prime rotated out/stopped being good.
Thing is, remember how much actual Fire we got in FlashFire? The Charizards, a Pyroar (plus a useless CoroCoro one) a useless Rapidash and two Fire-themed Trainers. We got more Water and Grass (as usual) than Fire, it really could have been FlashFlood and no one would have noticed. So basically, expect there to be a surprising lack of actual Fighting and another infestation of unplayable Grass types. It's pretty high odds on Medicham being the set's second Mega though, whether it's any good is only something time (and the usually shoddy card balancing department) will tell.
>>18616336Seeing as they're powering down basic EXes now (but occasionally making ones of Next Destinies strength) it'll be unlikely.
>>18616720That's what we thought when the initial Charizards, Blacksmith and Flame Torch were revealed, we were going to have a set that was at least 50% Fire Pokemon. And then it didn't even come close to that, with the playable stuff in an even smaller pool.
Call me a cynic but Lucario-EX will be mediocre, M-Lucario-EX is once again not worth passing the turn without an attack and the only good stuff we get is a functional Skyla reprint, Strong Energy as obscure yet potent tech, a random playable Krookodile-EX in Dark to give Darkrai yet another thing to mess with, and a few good-but-no-home things just like FlashFire's Shiftry and Golem.
Or maybe I'm just still annoyed that FlashFire was a massive dissappointment. You decide.
Pic related was what I got for some 'commissioned' custom Pokemon TCG cards I make on occasion. And no, not stupid shit like Arceus-EX with 300HP. Actually creative, balanced stuff.
