Help, I'm stuck in Mahogany Town.
This all started when I managed to almost literally stumble onto a Farfetch'd while hiking up route 43. I didn't have any pokémon of my own at that point, but we've had rumors of weirdly aggressive Magikarp up at the Lake of Rage ever since that Rocket incident a few years back. I figured one of those guys might be easy enough to fish up with a rod and shove in a ball, although I wasn't looking forward to the long, long grind towards making the thing somewhat battle-worthy. Getting waylaid by a duck bearing green onions was, as the saying goes, surprising but convenient. I think the only reason I managed to get him in the ball was that he was even more surprised to run into me.
I trained up Farfetch'd as best I could. We usually have a semi-regular flow of trainers passing through, courtesy of being a gym town, but the people who made it all the way out here to Pryce tended to be a lot more experienced than me. Farfetch'd had started to give me dirty looks from being overworked and semi-frequently set to burning (a lot of trainers seemed to be working on their fire types. Thanks Pryce), so I decided to try catching a teammate for him. Route 43 worked last time, so we hoofed it back up there.
