I've got a funny feeling what we saw in that direct was the only stuff they're gonna show for a while, which is frustrating because we didn't really learn much. The meat of the direct was a minute long and it was more or less a showcase of how the region looked, the starters, and the fact that it's a mainline game. The rest of the direct was jack shit, I don't trust anything Ohmori or Masuda say until I fucking see it, that "we're trying to make the best Pokémon games yet" shit is meaningless on its own when you're talking about Gamefreak.
