>>58743414I generally dislike any trainer spam route (sorry Kanto) but this one takes the cake because it’s a huge jump in both levels and amount of battling during a point in the game where you’ve had basically no opportunity to level up, catch many Pokémon, or save up enough for items, so you’re all but guaranteed to have to run back to the Pokémon Center once or twice, and it makes the whole thing one huge annoying slog. I never look forward to this route.
