>>42350720As someone who actually played the 3ds games and didn't just watch gameplay on youtube, the "lack of emotion" issue only really applies to generation 7. As shit as X and Y and ORAS were, the protagonists in those games actually emoted in ways that were relevant to the current scenario.
(I'm aware that this is the friend I'm calling attention to in the screenshot and not the pc but that's because they're interchangeable. Just take my word for it.)
