>>47310289>When the devs start to agree with the squeakers, I'll start accepting their point of view.Even if the devs explicitly agreed with the squeakers at some point, I still wouldn't really buy it because they would have to erase or retcon 25 years of canon content, dozens of games and hundreds of episodes of anime for their assertion to hold any sway. It just wouldn't be consistent.
Many (I would argue most) Pokemon are people, they're just not human (although there is evidence of multiple Pokemon that once were - Yamask, Froslass and Kadabra come to mind.)
