I've already outlined why I think Celebrations deserves to be up there, but i'll post it again
>no overbloating of the set, with 0 rainbows and only 1 "chase" card for each subset>regular set was literally all mythic/legendary pokemon that were also all holo>brought back a lot of old hard to get meta relevant cards as a "celebration"/love letter to the TCG as a whole>classic collection was all textured>quasi-reprint of the big 3 and not as the retarded new format that evolutions did, but the classic base set cards, arguably improving upon them by adding amazing textures>callbacks to surfing/flying pikachu, not to mention expanding upon Base Pikachu's art, which no set has done since (expanding a previous card's art)>2 Vs drawn by The Man Mitsuhiro Arita himself>3 shiny pokemon in the set for shiny enthusiasts>introduced official metal cards after the slew of KOs from China>promos of new Pokemon done in old set styles, something unique to Celebrations>culturally brought millions of new sets of eyes on to the PokemonTCG, helping Pokemon to continue to be the juggernaut it is today, the reason Base Set Charizard is worth x-thousands of dollars today is because of CelebrationsThe only thing I can maybe, MAYBE see it being shit for is if you actually play the TCG. Because there weren't many useful cards, but even then the points outlined above make up for that in spades. Feel free to call Celebrations shit, but I beg to differ.
