-You LITERALLY have trainers calling you up all the time on your Pokenav to congratulate you on your winstreaks in the Dome and other facilities
-You can call trainers whenever you want and they will also mention winstreaks
-The announcers DOES give you special callouts before fights, calling you unbeatable and the reigning champ
-A TV reporter interviews you after wins in the Battle Tower
-The MC is actually on the TV all the time, from random battles with reporters, after main game plots, contest victories, fanclub encounters, nicknames, lottery wins, shiny pokemon catches, fish caught, purchases made, etc. Many more if you mix records
-You have diehard fans in the Battle Tower who become your apprentices and will change their teams to whatever you want
-You have a whole section in a museum dedicated to paintings of just YOUR pokemon
-You DO have a lot of fans in the pokemon fanclub house
-After you rematch gymleaders and call them up, they all talk about how you fighting at their gym makes them famous now and they brag about it
-Your rival will mention via pokenav that people don't believe they are friends with someone as famous as you
-You DO get items for your secret base for winstreaks and contests wins
-Your Dad & Mom are very proud of you when you call them up

I don't know what you are going on about, but NPCS actually mentioning your fame is something I really like about Emerald.
