Actually, no, don't bother answering that question because I know you're just going to stubbornly argue against this reasoning while closing your ears to any valid issues people might have with Showdown. To be entirely honest, we're not even obligated to give you a reason at all. If we want to play multiplayer on the actual cartridge, we fucking will and there's nothing you can do about that. A Pokegen equivalent will eventually get released and we'll gladly do this all day and every day. Cry me a river, build a bridge, and just get the fuck over it. You're not going to stop it, and if you were truly a skilled player you would've adapted already.
