>>53555176>that's why it's stupid to try to write it off as just some wacky coincidence that GF would willingly put concept art of a Pokemon in the game on two different occasions. It's not a coincidence. It was a marketing tease.
>what exactly are the odds that Heath and his friends just so happened to guess correctly what Pokemon have an ancient/future form AND that the time machine just so happens to grab it?That's like asking "What are the odds that the main character of the anime just happens to stumble into catching not one, but all three of the starter pokemon?!?'' Gamefreak wanted to put a little tease for their DLC into the game. They decided it'd be fun to hint at it with an offhand note about a random fantasy drawing within the universe. That way players see it and think "Wow! I wonder if a pokemon like that will be added?" That's it. The website says it looks like the sketch because it's literally just the Pokemon Company saying "Look, this is what we were teasing with that sketch" God you people are so fucking dense. An entire fucking fandom headcanon entirely based off of taking a fucking marketing tactic as super deep lore.
