not only because of my extended break but also because I've just been holding down X and have not read more than a single line of dialogue from any character the entire time
final thoughts on empire:
it's dogshit
more specifically:
the gameplay(battles) itself isn't the worst thing ever but it's certainly bad in places
but when you compound the baffling and nonsensical battles with the terrible: story, mapping, trainer battles, 'gauntlets', money mechanics, etc. etc. etc. it compounds into a giant pile of garbage that I probably won't even consider ever doing a full playthrough of again (until the full release in 2055, trust the plan)
