2/3 of the new field effects were fine, even if one is just Rejuv's Volcano field. Mystical Grotto leans a bit on the retarded side, but there's not really many battles that use it, but in comparison to some of reborn's shittier fields, it's serviceable enough, especially since it can be removed pretty easily.
The new areas to catch shit were cool, I personally didn't get much use out of them, but they were cool nonetheless. The mystical grotto area was pretty nice.
The new scenes and interactions were mostly pretty neat. There's not too many of them I don't think, but they weren't terrible at least.

The OC moves are generally pretty retarded. 4/6 of Florinia's team getting access to a field boosted Grass type Double Iron bash is retarded, even if I personally didn't have to really suffer it thanks to my mons resisting grass. The retarded healing + statboost moves Shade and Noel get are fucking annoying. Amaria's Reshiram route OC move having a chance to Attract is fucking annoying. Aya getting a aoe Dire Claw on steroids is really fucking retarded. You get the point.
Even some of the less strong ones are still pretty ridiculous, like Shelly getting a 75 BP aoe that lowers Atk/Sp. Atk and Julia's 60 BP move guaranteeing a Sp. Atk boost, but at the very least, those somewhat align with Rejuv's more annoying Gym leader OC moves instead of creating another tier above them.
This has a lot of autism with the gen 8/9 evo items, holy shit. Genuinely, for what fucking purpose are shit like Flapple/Appletun (not even fucking Hydrapple, that's not in the game yet) locked to 13 badges, and Armarogue and Ceruledge locked to (right before) 15? And yet G-Slowbro's evos are 5 badges in apparently??? Lmao.
The playtesing was kinda bad. There's a few points where you can't progress thanks to crashes/softlocks, like the Ditto AI fuckup and the extra battle in Saphira's Gym.
