The Pokedex entries are either written by kids (who else would say things like "Alakazam have an IQ of 5000!!!"), or, in the anime, by the professor Westwood V who admitted putting bullshit in many entries.
Digimon's entries are not made by anybody from the Digimon Universe. There made by the Reference Book and, as a Reference Book, it's suppose to give objective information and facts about Digimon. You can believe them or not, but you have no indication saying they're wrong. And while some capacities of Digimon are not shown in games or anime the moment they're created, they can appear sometimes later. The fact that they're not shown yet doesn't mean that they're not true.
In Pokemon, a god can be put down by a well trained chicken or by a teenage girl, while it's totally impossible in Digimon, except for Masaru but he's special.

You need to have a high mass at a certain point to create one and if it was a black hole, Professor Oak would have been torn apart. Again, that's what a kid would called a black hole but it's not. Except for the appearance, it's nothing different than the digital gate.
