>>37435372It's based on the Tamagotchi Nano, which came out in 2010. That one spun off two other licensed variants, one for Disney and one for Sanrio (the Gudetama Tamagotchi). For this one, you feed Eevee, play games with it (the Eevee Tama has 2 minigames, while previous versions of the Nano had only one), brush its fur when it drops hairballs, and cheer it up when it's upset. How you care for it determines what it becomes. Eevee gets not only its 8 normal evolutions, but three additional secret forms as well.
It's feature-light compared to a regular Tamagotchi, but its simplicity means it can be picked up by people who find the normal Tamagotchi too complex and demanding.
