Or we live in another timeline where the show has been on a steady decline in consistency and quality, to the point of attracting the most verbal criticism at the competitive peak of the Ashnime. Plus with some 4chan shenanigans of digging up some old interviews and waybackmachines causing a massive blow to the suits in OLM, they decided to pull the plug on the MC cord because they want to have a clean slate.
