Lots of old Pokemon look weird or goofy in their 3D models, I can't stand Charizard flying in battle, its Pokemon Amie model/ORAS Pokedex sprite looks way better when it is standing on the ground with its wings spread.
Wish there was an option that would let you choose what idle animation your Pokemon had in battle, Typhlosion could really need a change thooo.
