It's objectively the best designed region in the series due to how well interconnected it is, how well the routes are designed with their memorable landmarks or things to do, and the optional stuff around every corner, and that the dungeons are still some of the most imaginative and unique ones in the series. Hoenn still offers the best exploration of any region.
