I don’t get the hate for those guys. they’re just slightly goofy mons with some interesting inspiration. Much less insulting pokemon designs than most of the shit from gen 5 and 6. Really the only somewhat "bad" thing about them is that they are legendary mons and not regular pokemons which suck because that mean they’ll most likely be transfer only mons in all future games.
