SM: I enjoyed it a lot. Yes the cut scenes sucks and there are moment where player is railroaded from point a to b, but the fact that its the only generation where GF tried to actually innovate Is remarkable.

Platinum: Definitive Sinnoh experience. Sadly Sinnoh itself kinda sucks so…
RB: The O.G. choice. Kinda broken but still fun to play.
FRLG: Kanto for people that don’t want wonky Gen 1 mechanics. Sadly too conservative and literal in being a remake.
RS: Worse than Emerald, still give bit different experience thanks to not trying to shoehorn 2 evil teams into one game. Also Steven is much better champion.
XY: My guilty pleasure. It’s flawed and nobody will deny it, but if one tone down with abusing all the tool given to them that breaks the game then it’s pretty pleasant experience. Also best regional dex in the series.

Japanese RGB: The O.G. with more bugs and additional hoops for people that don’t speak Japanese. Why?
GS: Crystal is just better.
Y: The O.G. with fucked up level curve, Pokemon variety, starter and two retards as additional “rivaals”. Why?

USUM: SM, but everything that was good about it removed. Story get fucked to shoehorn new, unnecessary narrative about Ubs and alternative dimensions, balance is outside the window thanks to U Necrozma. Avoid.
