>>52041248It's so weird that this is how Game freak decides to just nerf stuff. Prior to Generation 6 and definitely Generation 8, they just made more stuff that interacted differently and occasionally tweaked how the moves or abilities worked. But they've been pretty delete happy the past few years and it really bugs me. Like actually. There's valid viable strategies that now just get deleted from existence instead of them actually trying to think of work arounds. They could have easily just removed the scald TM like they did stealth rocks, but now they're just having you reset everyone's moveset once they go into home. It's total bullshit. And I'm not somebody who loves scald, but I am somebody who really can't stand them just cutting content instead of actually trying to improve the game. You're just replacing some bullshit with other bullshit and it's stupid. Why did we have to replace hail instead of just giving that buff to hail? Why are we getting rid of terrain setters but then adding shit like the two new box legends? It boggles the mind. They clearly don't know what the fuck they're doing, they just figure they can erase it and it will fix the problem because now each generation is meant to be its own contained thing
