>>41267216Apparently they're only used when she closes her eyes, facial rigs are so far the best on the series' models as they have a fuckton of bones for the eyes, eyebrows, mouth and even bones for the ears and nose for some reason. Quite the step up from having to use textures for them too
For Pokémon, I haven't checked all of them yet but, they seem to be a bit selective to what Pokémon get modelled faces and which ones don't and quite a lot of them just use textures for faces like the 3DS. More Pokémon seem to have gotten textures that allow their eyes to move around, and starters seem to all have modelled mouths that work (with the exception of maybe Raboot)
