>>42843406It doesn't mean his work comes from ignorance, it's just a fact that his style doesn't make use of that knowledge and I don't think his comics would look any different either way. That's true of a lot of artists. They often already have a style before they begin that kind of formal practice or training and it merely helps train a better sense of planning out a character's proportions and depth, again if that is something you're going to use.
