>>26605413. I always appreciate an old favorite location being brought into modern graphics but there were some parts of HG/SS where I felt like the visual changes fucked with my nostalgia too much. Like, I get that HG/SS Goldenrod is objectively better in terms of visual design and how the colors match up and whatnot, but it's not strictly the same Goldenrod I remember from my childhood.
Also like I said before but I'll keep pushing it, it bugged me that they changed the trees in Ilex and the National Park from the dank bulbous Zelda-esque trees in pic related to just be generic pines.
