There are tons of pokemon to love, tons of pokemon to battle with, tons of pokemon to read pokedex entries on.
I can make a team with the ones that are the cutest, can try to make a team as balanced and OP as possible or simply pick random pokemon for new experience.
I also love how there are a lot of additions to the franchise that deepen the world and are just an interesting fresh look. Detective Pikachu movie was what brought me back in the community after I forgot about it and I started playing pokemon games because of the anime. Spin-off games are pretty fun as well.
