>>53794294I disagree, I'm an American who just spent Febuary in Spain. Spain has overlap with European and Latin American culture but it leans European heavily in every measurable metric
Spain speaks Spanish, yes, but it is IN the European union. Colombians and Mexicans are welcome there, but Europeans like Germans go to school there for FREE. Nobody there gives a shit about Latin American politics but you can bet they read what Germany is doing in the papers. (well it would be more relevant to them anyway. the Spanish didnt seem to care much for world affairs. I like their breezey attitude)
Anyway, you sound like you have a chip on your shoulder, amigo. Assuming the worst about people and basing everything on skintone. Chill out.
>>53796215this this this. Still super distinct but Mediterranean culture is more palpable than the pan-European or Spanishspeakingworld influences.
>>53794322People hate to hear it, but yea, North Americans stick together. I felt camaraderie with Mexicans abroad. They were just as much out of their element in Spain as I, a white midwest American was. In fact, me and a guy from Mexico city both got pickpocketed immediately because we were obviously tourists who didn't quite fit in. Europe is the oldworld, baby. there are AFRICANS there. and ROMAN RUINS. Its like a fantasy RPG world
>>53794238this was my assumption and is still my headcanon. But what
>>53794296 said is true. if they wanted to indicate her as an exchange student they easily could have. i say shes a good design people can believe what they want.
Paldea was a wasted oppurtunity. The game is too lush, central Spain is desertifying. Shouldve had more ruins. Shouldve based the towns on real towns. meh.
