>>56277020Supposedly they were made at the same time then released in tandem with eachother, so not so much a beta as it is a different take on it I guess.
The gliding feels so horrible in SV, in L:A Braviary gives you a solid boost in altitude and the descent is very gradual, plus you can speed it up.
In SV the glide is super shitty, slow, and you fall out of it in no time. I feel like they intentionally made it shitty so that them adding true flight at the very end of the Blueberry dlc would be a big deal... but you need the dlc for it of course. Just thinking about it fucking pisses me off.
Hope that any SV romhackers out there make it available from the beginning, needing to beat Titans just to unlock basic bitch shit like dashing is too obnoxious, especially on repeat playthroughs.

>>56276961 said, it doesn't vibe with everyone, but I really enjoyed it! In the Obsidian Fieldlands I was a bit lost on what the exact object was, by the Crimson Mirelands I had fully made it by goal to try getting every Pokemon properly registered in the dex. Observing the different behaviours of mons was very engaging, first time catching ever felt enjoyable and thrilling to me, and the fear of getting jumped by mons added real stakes! I'm really looking forward to Legends Z-A for this reason.
