Also I might be downplaying myself, but a lot of this is just due to how absurdly fucked the perspective is, and what some better looking colors does to a design. Though I will admit i have been doing this as a weird side hobby for years, I've actually got a good collection of my own hidden redos. Tempted to do something with them, probably won't.
Thinking about it, i did recognize what bugged me though. The body length was something that i somehow missed.
