FYI : This is an official art from TCG by Ken Sugimori. The anime design is purely based on her chibi version in the game since we never gotten clear look at player's mother until Pokemon went 3D on Gen V and only GSC mother had an official art. Both Ash and May's mother are exclusive to anime.
