Were there any that evolved under unusual circumstance?The first Pokemon Brent had evolve while with him was his Kricketot, Alfred, it happened in a cave system near Oreburgh. He and Sophia both made the highest pitched excited noises they ever made in their life when it happened.

Was it the right thing to do?At one point in his childhood he wanted to be a Pokemon Master or a famous pokemon battler person like his childhood cartoon idol Ash Ketchum (or famous battlers like the Champion of his region, Alister McDonnald)...then he realized he didn't like watching when real people got hurt, so he focused more on his music.
>3. Does your character have reserve Pokémon? What circumstances would cause them to move a reserve Pokémon to their main team?Yes. Brent schedules time to hang out with every Pokemon that's chosen to travel alongside him, he always has a chat with each one of them, to see how they're holding up what they want to do, changes they wanna see etc. So despite a lot of Pokemon being in reserve he does see them all quite a bit. A lot of them are actually just chilling around or at one of his two homes, so its not difficult to see them.
When it comes to traveling or battles, the Pokemon who really want to battle or train or test their skills, they usually stay with him during those times on the chance challengers show up or something is worth their time. They also alternate out depending on if they're doing Gym Challenges or if they have a performance going on that they're a part of. Everyone does something.
