>>18397224Noo, it's just her name in dummied out data, where rival was called Terry, it's not really true. A lot of other trainers had weird names there too. Kanto heroes (and Johto heroes, used to be) are named after games. Water Blue is a registered tramedark, so they may have considered changing Leaf Green to Water Blue.
In the rom suggested names for hero is Red, for rival is Green and for heroine is Blue, in HG/SS they called hero Red and switched rival to Blue, heroine have not appeared, but she would be Green following that logic.
Before bulbapedia and their "Leaf" article everyone called her either Green or Blue.
