>>56522266Stop parroting this pseudoscience. Ask any actual neuroscientist. There's no arbitrary point of maturity but most people get to be more or less mature in their late teens or early 20s. The human brain never stops developing but some people develop a lot faster because they're well adjusted and some people develop a lot slower (autists like us). Be honest: there are teenagers with more maturity than most of us will ever have. The real reason lawmakers and normies are pushing this "science says 25 is REAL adulthood" myth in the last decade is because it justifies that the current generation is being infantilized and controlled like never before and that the economy is holding us back from getting jobs and starting families. It's not because it owns the trannies and pedos (and it doesn't) but they get useful idiots to go along with it by saying it does. A century ago and for most of history, everyone was a skilled worker by 16 and meeting their spouse by 20. We obsess over games for literal children as adults to escape our empty reality but even our escapist fantasies are turning into goyslop because otherwise we'd long for something real like in the old Pokemon games. My point is don't let them infantilize you and don't infantilize the kids you may or may not have some day. I think we should cherish our lost childhoods and resist the kind of propaganda you see in SV where everyone's a gray blob of random age/name/gender/race/body all in the same ugly unisex uniform, all infantilized and spineless forever. Don't parrot their myths.
