>>12165509As far as Champions go my all time favourite will be pic related, Steven motherfucking Stone. His line up looks great, its diverse enough to be viable while still maintaining a solid theme and he's just an all round cool guy. He's perhaps not as hard to beat as Cynthia or Alder, but he's still the coolest.
Alder is number two, especially for actually doing stuff in the storyline by trying to stop N, even if he was unsuccessful. His brief appearance in the anime didn't hurt either. He also had a pretty cool line up, even if it didn't have a specific theme it was made up of pokemon that I happened to personally like
and Vanilluxe , and was a pretty solid challenge, if a bit lopsided typing wise.
Blue is number three because it was personal with him, his team is pretty decent (even though you'd seen it before) and as a young anon I'd lost battles to him before and felt like he could really win if I fucked up.
Cynthia is four, she's not bad but I've always found her kind of plain. Her team doesn't feel like it has any kind of theme beyond powerful ,which is a good theme in of itself, but just feels like a very vanilla, constructed line up. Alder's team felt a lot more like pokemon the guy actually liked, Cynthias felt like a smogon copy and paste job. Hanging around and telling a preteen to go fight Giratina while she stood there was also not appreciated.
Lance was just Dragonitedragonitedragonite. The rematch team was better, but still. 5.
Never played Emerald, so no opinion on Wallace as Champion, but suspect he'd be low ranked.
