First of all, going full fast-offensive paper-mache cannons only works if you're playing with Shift mode on, and only subhumans and children play in Shift. If you're playing on Set like you should sooner or later you're going to encounter a mon that not only is going to resist/tank you but then proceed tear a new hole in your frail sweeper, and to avoid that you need someone with enough defenses to switch in safely. Have in mind setting is not an option since by that autist's logic it would be also a loss of time when you could be simply carrying 4 attacks and chugging potions/revives on demand.
Second, this is even more true for nuzlocke runs where survivality decides your rate of success. Sure, you can simply use type resistances to your advantage and still switch-in frail mons if you kwon what you're doing. But defensive/tanky mons will still cover more team weakpoints overall and compliment our offensive mons. This is specially true for mons like Ferrothorn, who will consistently get your frail high-offense attackers out of tough situations without losing anyone.
Third, ignoring the fact that this kind of autist would be limiting himself to a very, very small fraction of all the ingame viable mons, if we follow his own bullshit logic of "go as fast as possible by only using OHKOs", then the only logical tactic he should be using is the classic "only use your starter until it overlevels and OHKOs everything in the game" that a lot of kids went through, because that's unironically the fastest and less time-wasting way to play these games. No, seriously, why even """waste time""" capturing and training a team when 1 overleveled starter can handle the entire game?
And lastly, a sperg having a meltdown because other people enjoy using anything else that's not a fast sweeper with high offensive stats is a clear case of pic related.
