Went and saw Detective Pikachu with my friends last week. While it was kinda predictable, it was still pretty good in my opinion.
Like, it accomplished what it set out to do: make a regular kids movie set in a live action version of the Pokemon world.

Makes me really hope we can get some more cool movies from it.
Would LOVE some kind of Booker live action movie about him hunting down Giovanni or some shit. He seems like the perfect character to make a series out of.

I've come to a pretty good conclusion with my feelings over this.
I'm gonna get the games, and I'm going to enjoy them just like I do all Pokemon games.
Them removing the national dex doesn't bother me since I never bothered with it.
The wild area having garbage textures doesn't bother me cause I'm more interested in the idea of being chased by a vespequinn 3x my level or sneaking up on some new pokemon I want to catch.
The fight animations don't bother me because I actually like the shorter animations and while I do wish they'd give the pokemon more than one special/physical animation, them having the same animations doesn't really matter since I'll likely use pokemon I've never had before so it'll be new to me anyways.

Basically, I'm gonna get it and enjoy it cause despite the flaws, it's still new Pokemon.

Yeah. Sometimes you just wanna have some comfy junk food. That's Pokemon to me, just a simple game where I can kick back and enjoy it.
Fuck, I spend hours just riding a bike back and forth shiny breeding and feel perfectly content.

The percent of the player base that would want to transfer every pokemon from the past games into S/S and wouldn't be fine transfering it to Home is like 1%
The percent of players that want to preserve their old favorites and use them in S/S is probably way higher, like maybe 10-15%.
But the vast majority of people that play the games won't give a shit about not being able to transfer because they never did before or will be fine with just transferring to Home.

It's just that they were really bad with how they announced this change and the faggots that are in that minority are the most autistic and loudest.

The games will still come out when they said and make a FUCKLOAD of money.
And I'm like 99% sure that most people that are upset about this now will chill once we learn more about Pokemon Home.
