makes me want an ability that boosts laser/beam moves like Ice Beam, Hydro Pump, and Flamethrower.
and the Octillery itself gets mostly defense, special defense, and special attack boosts.
the only potentially wrong thing about Octillery would be Moody shenanigans.
I like it. a mix of the 2 would be beautiful.
