I really do think that everstone and the Knot fuck with Shiny rates for better or worse (depending on the RNG).
IDK, maybe its just pure luck. I already had a Shiny Pyrour but I did this as a test to see how fast I could get a shiny just using the MM and no items. (Also partly because I found out that one set of the 2 other Pokemon I had breed to 3+ boxes weren't even MMing ... I thought the guy giving my the Pumpkaboo was in Germany but it doesn't have a tag or anything. Only fucking with tags now.
