Theres also a lot of playing with brushes.
Ive improved miles so far (started with a tablet around February/March) even though I'm very patchy about drawing. I need to do those big sketch papers that have a ton of practiced crap on them. That way I can draw faster than a mile an hour. My only complaint with my sketch pen settings is that its not quite dark enough and I cant seem to fix it without looking funky. But thats fine because it looks a lot like irl pencils.
Although sometimes I'm taken by a fey mood and go the full mile on drawings.
