No one won, the games sucked, the content was rushed and forgettable, the anime will probably retire Ash on a bitter note since Journey isn't as good as it was originally advertised and anyone with a brain already dropped it after the Kalos League blunder. This mess was a failed experiment AT BEST, the best bet for shills is to ignore all the evidence that points this period as being the worst for being a pokemon fan, the BBND people weren't as autistic as the forced positivity folk from Twitter and Reddit in complete denial of the reality the franchise faced. Maybe the change to open-world in Arceus and SV means that Game Freak learned their lesson but Gen 8 still sucked major dick and i hope it and it's getting characters never get revisited.
