Massive defense boost? fantastic, there is no way Megamence is going to get the 170 base attack it needs to sweep the entire metagame. Zero chance of them making a bulky attacker hit that hard, not without losing something else.
Now, because of this, with at least 50 points being thrown in defense, we can expect a stupid amount of SpA investment and maybe 15 points in attack. Good fucking going Gamefreak
