You were my first friend in this world, and it pains me to see you go. I don't know what to say. Out of everyone in our battle against Blue, I never thought it would be you to die. I'm sorry I had you switch in against Squirtle to train PVT. Sting. I never should've done that, knowing that you were at such close levels. I thought that you would be able to pull through, after several accuracy and attack drops on Squirtle, but that one critical made all the difference, and I should've known better, after the death of Nigel.
I'm sorry you won't be able to complete the journey with us, and I hope you can rest in peace knowing that Pidgey was able to take down the Squirtle that killed you.
