Locked power plants/Hidden legendaries/Tinfoil general.
>Dianshii
>Fuupa
>Borukenion
Those are the three trademarked Japanese names that do not correspond to any known Pokemon. They do; however, somewhat correspond with the power plants. "Borukenion" is obviously Volcanyon or Volcanion, which matches either the fire or thermal plant. Fuupa is a pun on wind, which could match the decomposition gas plant. The only question mark is Dianshii, which could possibly be related to the Sea Spirit's Den because "shii" = sea.
Others thing of note are the memo at Lumiose Press and the Pokeball Factory. The memo explicitly references an event legendary using their official term "Mythical Pokemon" and that the person who wrote it started the search by heading deep into the mountains. The Pokeball Factory is suspicious because it shares the same music with the power plant, has a painting alongside ones for the locked plants, has two locked buildings to the left and right of the center one, and there are to bizarre looking statues on the sides of the gate.
Of course there's also the souvenir, but I don't think there's much point in hunting for something that's explicitly in a far away region that may be based on the Easter Islands or Louisiana. There MIGHT be some hints somewhere if it's Louisiana, as that was once French territory and presumably its Pokemon counterpart has heavy influence from Kalos.
