Much like the "haunted house" genre of episode, I'm generally not a huge fan of the "we've suddenly been cast in a movie or TV show" episodes. And I'm not particularly in love with this one either, but I do appreciate that OLM felt they could show off what they could do animation-wise by having a two and a half minute long magical girl transformation and battle sequence at the end. I guess I'd rank this one just below the AG movie episode where they had a vignette of Red's asshole Clefairy from the gag manga, but above the Mime Jr./Bonsly one later in AG, and the two XY ones. I cannot for the life of me remember what they did in DP.
