Bloop went super autist
>Thread QuestionNot mine
>Previous Thread QuestionHonestly, I didn't find the battles in previous Pokemon games all that engaging so it was usually just about the story and collecting monsters for me. As for the gameplay, someone mentioned removing levels altogether and I wouldn't be too opposed to that apart from the whole evolution thing. In a game with more active combat like Z-A's, I'm more worried about getting overleveled and missing out on some challenge than I am about the grind. Ideally I'd want it to get to a point where player skill plays a big enough part that you can win with almost any Pokemon if you're good enough, but I know that's not the most realistic thing to hope for and would probably be an entire other genre of game. But to dial it back a bit, Z-A combat with the ability to choose your Pokemon's position when using moves and some universal damage reduction so not everything is a 1-shot might be a nice start.
